Old Friends
A mainstay of Omaha for years, Zesto has become an institution. The cool ice cream on a hot day marks the arrival of summer, and is a tradition not to be overlooked.
Zesto and baseball go hand-in-hand. Tom Kelley, father of Zesto’s owner, Mike Kelley, threw out the first ever pitch at Rosenblatt Stadium in 1948 when it opened. As neighbor of Rosenblatt Stadium, Zesto has been an integral part of the College World Series for years, and grabbing a soft-serve cone is essential for sun-burned baseball fans.
Zesto’s ice cream will remain both a summertime and College World Series tradition — cones, cups, shakes and astros can be ordered from your server at Blatt Beer & Table.
